Hey!

Well since I've just hit the 5k mark of page views, this could be a good time to make a new journal;).

I personaly think, that more page views doesn't mean better work/artist, it only shows how active you are in deviantart community, specially in faving, commenting others artists work, and only on the thirds place there is the arts quality(in my opinion). When I fave a work I realy love it (and I'm quite picky;), same is with my comments=).

So thanks for watching my work and commenting on it, would love to hear some critics on it aswell, not just "I like" ones. Love you guys/girls;)

As you probably noticed I don't post my art as often as I used to, that's because I don't have as much time as I had last year, and because I decided to push my work onto the next level.

Hey!

I'm Matej and I'm a student of Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering Department of Textiles here in Ljubljana. I'm studying graphic design.
However my biggest love is photography. I've been seriously into photography for 2 years now, but I've been interasted in photography for 5 year, and im progressing, with my knowledge and my gear, but I always say its not the gear/equipment that makes a good photographer its his heart and his imagination. I love all the photography stiles and techniques, but currently Im more into fashion/glamour/retro/vintage/portrait photography and also grunge.

Every photo that I postprocess (photoshop), has a reason why I did it. I try to find a story or a meaning behind a photo that I'm about to take, and I attempt to visualize the idea as much as I can, whether its a happy tought/memory, loss of a loved one or just an instant inspiration I get at that moment. I try my best to show other people what I see in a specific photo without using any words, if I'm successful my goal was achieved. So next time you take a look at one of me photos, take a second and maybe you'll see what I see...

I'm always looking for new challenge in photography and in the future that will probably be wild life photography and landscape, as soon as I get some money;). I can't imagen how exciting it must be waiting for that one perfect shot of a wild animal, sometimes you have to wait for houres for the bird to land on its spot, and you might be waiting in a cold river or on a top of a tree for that perfect shot. Sometimes it takes even a hall week to get one perfect shot, but in the end its all worth it. The effort you take, the money you spend on your gear, and the time you spend looking for that perfect shot, its just you and the wild life out there. You are like a hunter, just in this case you try to show a certain rare species to the outside world.

One day a little girl walked up to me and asked me "Why do you like taking photos so much?"I answeard her"Because I'm not very good with words, and "I can tell more with a photo then with 1000 words", because I can tell someone how I feel about them, when I can't see that person. Because it is the nearest thing that comes close to love...

A special girl said to me one day: "Listen and think with your own head"

Ponavad ne komentiram umetniskega stila/sloga na katerga se ne spoznam;), ampak ce te zanima mas zlo fajn risbe/skice si velik cajta dala not bi reku. sam kej bl konstuktivnga ti pa nemorm povedat ker sm jst bl foto guy;)

Ne bom. Kar sem meu namen popravljat je bil zaključek pri kolenih, ki malce čudno izpadejo. Sem upal, da maš spodaj še kaj daljšo fotko... Lepa je tudi tako. Uživaj! Jure.

o živjo, živjo, tebe pa že neki časa iščem za mail al pa kej ka sm te ene parkrat fotku za objavo fotk pa to če bi mi dovolu, sej sm te parkrat sreču na faxu sam ja sm lih ocene vpisoval.

ja jst grem zdej v druzga GMT izredni vrjetno, probu bom pa v rednga zdej cakam kako bo z komisijo.

Objavo fotk mirno dovolim dokler sm spodej napisan kot model, pa dokler niso akt. Če pa so akt mi pa prej pošl fotko na mail pa ti sporočim a jo dovolim al ne. Čeprov po pravic povedan, nism glih ne vem kok sramežljiv.
